Elected to the Board 2013 and Reelected 2015
Deacon Murphy Robertson is a member of the Trustee Board Executive Committee. As the Treasurer for the Trustee Board, he also serves as the Chairman of the Finance Board. He has been a member of Praise Cathedral COGIC Since September 1965. Additionally, he and his wife Jesse May serve the church in numerous other capacities. His children and grandchildren are also members of Praise Cathedral. Brother Robertson has been a licensed deacon since 1970 and is the Sunday School Superintendent for Praise Cathedral and the San Antonio District of the Texas Southwest Jurisdiction, COGIC. Murphy served four years in the US Air Force, studied accounting at San Antonio College and culminated a 40 year licensed electrician career with Corbo Electric as a Project Supervisor. Deacon Robertson’s ministry focus is Christian Education and creating opportunities for young people to learn and demonstrate their talents.
