DISCOVER FIRST! New Member Class
Membership is open to anyone professing salvation through the atoning work of Jesus Christ on the cross. However, with membership comes rights, privileges and responsibilities. Therefore, we invite and require anyone considering membership with Praise Cathedral to attend a seven-lesson introductory course in order to make an informed decision. We call it Discover First.
After completing the course, and if you decide to join, you will be given the opportunity at an appropriate service. At that service the Pastor will Open the Doors of the Church. Then he will allow you to petition all members present to accept you as a member. Upon verbal acceptance by the membership, you will be added to the membership roll. Minor children are automatically accepted with their parents or legal guardians.
Praise Cathedral also offers Watch-Care for military members, students and other people who are here temporarily but are members of another Christian church outside of the San Antonio region.
Praise Cathedral is a church where everyone is invited to pray, praise, worship, study and fellowship. We invite and encourage you to worship here, whether you place your name on the membership roll or not and to God be the glory.
